Lynnsey + Michael: Expecting!

Several months ago I received a phone call from my very good friend from college in the middle of the day. As this was a rather unusual time for her to call, I suspected something was up. Sure enough, she was calling with the wonderful news that she was pregnant. Not much later she asked if I would take her maternity pictures, and I couldn't have been more honored or thrilled.

Lynnsey, since I know you're waiting on pins and needles to get the pictures back, I'm putting up a few of my favorites to hold you over for now. ;)

Congrats Lynnsey and Michael! The next 6 weeks will fly by before you know it and Colston will be here!

Oh my sister has her hands full. Michael is definitely a little boy through and through. He just LOVES to wrestle and rough house. Particularly with "the boys". Here he is wrestling with Grandpa, who's going to win?

Let's Color!

Time for some more Michael cuteness! After receiving crayons and a super huge coloring book for Christmas, Little Man decided he was ready to give this whole "coloring thing" a try. But first he had to get a little instruction from Gramps...

Warning: There's a Cutie in the Kitchen

Has it really been so long since I've posted? Definitely time to remedy that! No better way to get back in to it than posting some pictures of the little guy "helping" out in the kitchen.

Making Cookies for Daddy

Last weekend Jen and I decided that it was about time Marion received a care package, and what better way to do that than to send him homemade cookies made by none other than Mr. Michael himself.

First have Mommy and Auntie collect all the ingredients...


You always have to make sure you wash your hands before playing in cookie dough


Start with a little bit of butter


Wait! Don't eat the butter!


Next comes the sugar.


Mix it all together. Even if you aren't so sure about this whole food processor thing.


Then you have to roll out the dough and cut out the cookies


Once Mommy and Auntie have taken care of the baking part, it's time to decorate!


And last but not least, you always have to try your handi-work to make sure it's good enough for Daddy!

Ear Infections ≠ Smiles....

but we got what we could! Poor little guy... he was fighting an ear infection this past weekend, which made for lots of cuddle time and a cranky boy. However, every once in a while the Tylenol would kick in just long enough for us to play around with him.

One thing is for sure, when he's not feeling good, he likes to read lots of books. Lots. Right now.

Michael woke up from his Sunday nap to find himself with a new toy! Now we just have to teach him how to not hit things with it.
